Privacy Policy
YouTube Win is a service for randomly picking a winner among commenters of a YouTube video. This page describes what data it processes.
What data we process
- The video link you enter — to load its comments.
- Public YouTube data through YouTube API Services: video and channel titles, as well as commenters' names, avatars, channel IDs and comment texts.
- IP address — only to limit the number of draws per hour from one address.
How long we keep it
- Loaded comments are kept only in the server's memory for no longer than 10 minutes — so a repeat draw for the same video does not reload them.
- The draw result is kept in memory for up to 15 minutes so that it can be shown on the page.
- IP addresses are kept in memory for no longer than 1 hour.
- Nothing is written to disk; the data disappears when the server restarts.
What we do not do
- We do not use cookies, counters or advertising trackers. The only exception is the language cookie described above, which stores your language choice.
- We do not ask you to sign in to a Google account and do not access your YouTube account.
- We do not pass data to third parties, except requests to YouTube API Services.
YouTube and Google
The service uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Data processing on Google's side is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
